Do we treat Koi onsite?

Sadly, no. The very simple reason for this is that we do not have the time. If we were to offer Koi consulting services we would end up doing nothing else!

This is not to say that we don't want to help - nothing could be further from the truth! And we will of course gladly refer a local Koi doctor to come and see you onsite in your area.

But our philosophy is that our customers should be able to deal with the vast majority of Koi maladies on their own. It is part and parcel of the hobby after all - and by empowering our customers to be able to do their own Koi treatments we are helping to make us all better Koi keepers and better hobbyists.

That said we're here to help and we will bend over backwards to assist you in any way we can. We've been there, done that and we have the experience to help you out.

Mail us anytime with your queries. Remember to include the size of your pond, a brief description of your filtration and a description of the problem. Wherever possible mail us photos - and please bowl the fish in a blue bowl so that we can clearly see what we are dealing with.

Sometimes we will be without any idea - typically when parasites are involved. These often need a microscope to detect accurately - and in such cases a Koi doctor is normally your best option. Mail us for a referral and remember to tell us where you are!
